WHAT DO I OFFER?
WEIGHTLIFTING
This is probably the most common client request, and where you will likely see the most gains. If you are interested in weightlifting, I'm definitely the trainer for you. We can create an enjoyable, but challenging program specifically designed for you. We can ensure that you see the improvements that you desire. If a public gym is not something you are comfortable with, I have resistance bands and dumbbells that I can bring to you, wherever you want to train.
CARDIORESPIRATORY TRAINING
I also offer cardiorespiratory training, which is defined as how well your body can intake oxygen and distribute to your muscles and organs. This process can be improved by running, walking, swimming, kickboxing and many other methods. I have access to treadmills, elliptical trainers, and stationary bikes, but if none of those interest you, we can always walk or jog.
FLEXIBILITY/MOBILITY TRAINING
For many of my clients who have not regularly exercised for a while, I know that can also mean that it will take time to become conditioned. During that process, putting excessive stress on the body too quickly or incorrectly can cause severe injury. If you need a strong baseline to begin your journey, a focus on flexibility and mobility is what I recommend. For example, we can begin with different stretching exercises to increase your core flexibility and strength, with an eye to the future to get you prepared for more strenuous activities.
SELF-DEFENSE
I also offer basic self-defense classes for individuals and groups. I can help you feel more confident in your surroundings and learn how to deal with potentially risky situations effectively.
